What to Expect at Your First Visit

When you walk into our practice, our receptionist will greet you and provide you with a medical history form for you to complete.

Dr. Tostado will meet with you in the treatment area to discuss any specific concerns you may have about the health or appearance of your teeth. Next, he will perform a comprehensive dental examination complete with necessary X-rays. 

If you need treatment, Dr. Tostado will explain your options and answer your questions. We will also provide you with an estimate for the cost of your treatment and review your payment options.

Your first appointment will take approximately one hour, or possibly longer. Since it is so thorough, we usually just focus on examining your teeth and schedule your cleaning for a separate visit. Please let us know in advance if you would like to have a teeth cleaning in addition to your examination during the first visit.

Dr. Tostado has incorporated the latest technology into our practice to provide accurate diagnoses and comfortable care to our patients. Our practice features digital X-rays (including an on-site panoramic machine), a 3-D scanner, intraoral camera technology, and laser dentistry.
